This Privacy Policy explains how Glimpse ("Glimpse," "we," "us," or "our"), a product built and operated by MatchBest, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website or use the Glimpse platform (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Glimpse is a multilingual brand reputation monitoring platform, built and operated by MatchBest. MatchBest is the entity responsible for the Service and for the data described in this policy. See our About page for more on this relationship.
We collect the following categories of information in order to operate the Service:
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information or your organization's brand data to third parties.
Alert delivery integrations (Slack, Microsoft Teams, and n8n) send data only to the destinations you explicitly configure with your own webhook URLs — we do not route your data anywhere you haven't set up yourself. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, infrastructure and hosting providers) under obligations to protect that information, or where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Glimpse stores data in a dedicated database, run as its own service separate from the application server. Access to dashboards requires authentication, and accounts are assigned role-based permissions (Admin, Operator, or Viewer) that scope what a given account can see and change. For a full plain-language description of our current data-handling practices, see our Data Security page.
We retain the information described above for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service to you. If your account is closed, we will retain data only as long as reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and support legitimate business purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us.
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which can include the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us as described below. We will respond to verifiable requests in accordance with applicable law.
The Service uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as your selected language). See our Cookie Policy for details.
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Because the Service monitors brand mentions across the web in multiple languages and regions, data we process may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps intended to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal or operational reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please reach out through the contact options available on this website, including our sales and support contact forms.
